It may be Valentine's this week but there are other ways to look after our hearts.
It's the University of Portsmouth's Red Week (12-18 February) to help promote the Healthy Hearts campaign in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
Many of the university’s societies are supporting the cause by running their very own fundraisers, including a Healthy Hearts Hike, Valentine's Karaoke, a Super Bowl Watch Party and many more.
As well as this, all societies are encouraged to wear red to training sessions to show their support for the cause. Along with the aim ‘Team UOP Stands Together’, this week's Wednesday socials are mainly joined with other societies to create unity in support of the Healthy Hearts campaign.
The university is making a huge impact with this campaign and spreading masses of awareness for heart and circulatory conditions as well as risk factors and preventative tips on staying healthy.
