Southsea Common Fireworks: date announced

The city of Portsmouth’s annual fireworks display has a new home on Southsea Common this year. Get down there for Wednesday 1 November 5pm.

There’ll be hot food stalls and an “ultimate live disco experience brought to you by ‘Lee and the Freaks” and “South Coast Ghosts, a dynamic collective of rappers, singers, musicians, and producers”.

Cllr Steve Pitt, Leader of Portsmouth City Council, said: “As always, we’ll have spectacular fireworks, great entertainment, live music, and delectable food and refreshments for everyone to enjoy.”

Pains Fireworks, a local supplier of spectacular displays, will "dazzle the audience with their breath-taking pyrotechnics," says the council press release.
